Hi, I'm angry at this situation, what do you think?

There was a contest, we were asked to make a poster for a fashion show.
Ok, so the date to hand the posters was May 3, and I was the Only one
who finished on time.

The thing is, everyone else finished the next day, and it seems like the ones
who are organizing the contest didn't take into account that I was the only
one who finished on time, the results were going to be published by May 4,
but everyone else was still finisihing theirs...

The thing is, the prize was to
1.- get the poster selected
2.- get an excellent grade for the semester

And all the winners finished the next day...

Do you think this is fair?

No, it isn't fair, but it's life.

You probably got "points" for being on time, but apparently the other posters were so much better than yours that it didn't matter that they were late. Sorry.

It's a tactic a lot of my classmates and sometimes me use too.
Everyone hands over an assignment a day or a few days later and tell the teacher he put the assignment due to that day. (if we all haven't made it yet, he can't complain)

:x I hate it when other kids do that. They don't say that the due date was later, but rather just assume that the teacher "can't fail everyone" and it actually works sometimes. I work hard to get my work done on time, yet the people who didn't even bother get just as good of a grade as me. It just doesn't seem fair. I'm the worst procrastinator ever, but I usually still manage to get everything done even if I have to stay up all night the day before it's due.
My English teacher last semester was cool though, and didn't fall for that. I was one of only like 4 people who finished the project on time.
