I am currently in my third semester at community college and preparing to register for classes for my fourth semester. In all three of the semesters l've attended this college, I have taken at least one course with the same professor; their teaching styles and even just personality in general work really well for me, and I have enjoyed every class I have taken with them.

Sadly, as of right now, they won't be teaching any classes that I haven't taken. I knew this would obviously happen eventually, but I'm still quite sad. I've just gotten so used to their classes, and, as weird as it may sound, having that familiarity and comfort in knowing that I enjoy their classes have helped me to keep going in college. I know I don't need to have that sense of familiarity to succeed, but it is comforting to have.

Has anybody been in a similar situation? Any advice?
