Tests and Assingments?

I was just wondering if anyone else got high marks on tests but low marks on open book assignments. I had a parent-teacher meeting and my Math, English, and Geography teachers all said I did almost 100% on tests (ranging from 75%-100%) but fairly poor on in class, textbook assignments, which is normally the opposite for people.

Yes I can usually do well on exams getting an assignment in on time is near impossible.

you are lucky though, because if you bomb a test you're grade is permantly destroyed but homeowrk assignments are usually only 5 to 10 points. And most of the homework at my school is just checked for completion, so you can write a whole bunch of random crap, get the credit, and fix it while the class is going over it.

I hate it when half the stuff on the test was never gone over in class. It just pisses me off. Seriously....why do teachers do that? "Osteoocyte" was NO WHERE on the notes but "osteon" was on the notes, so logically I used the latter because you never went over the first word in this particular unit.

Yeah, I know, but the thing is, my math teacher at least, acts like i don't try on assignments, but it's either my last or second last class(switches back and forth every day ) so i'm either tired or stressed from the day so far, i can do the work but the class is just so stressing, if i don't get it right, i may try again but thats it for the day, if i'm having a bad day not due to annoyances(waking up later days are bad days) i'll just rip it up if i get corrected. I also like doing things without looking, i can see it in my mind better than on paper, but sometimes i cant make it into "words". like in computers, you have a picture or a higher text format but a lower grade text program, and it can't be converted, just comes up boxes, or in my case doodles you can pretty much show me something once or twice, in different ways, i'll find a way i like and give me a bunch of things on paper i can do em with no help, seeing it over again confuses me.

sorry for the long, probably 50% useless post, i ramble, and i'm lazy today so no rereading ofr me.
