Anytime I tell my mum or any social workers about problems with my peers (in a nutshell, THEY HATE ME), they act like it's all in my head or I'm overreacting or something. How many ways can you interpret the phrase "psycho freak" being used against you?! School is mental torture for six hours a day, five days a week. When did this crap become acceptable while my spending too much time alone is not?!

Its as frustrating as hell when people say that patronising s**t...

I'm sorry that no-one listens to you. Hopefully if you ride it out and get out of school, you will realise in the long run that those peoples opinions don't matter. Trust me, I have.

Sorry you have to go through that, it was never easy for me, and it never made sense. If they wanted me to be more like her, why treat me in a radically different way? She was free to do whatever she liked to do and it was never a problem, I don't know why it was different with me.

Being constantly compared to someone who's actions are always right because they are her actions as opposed to being judged my some code of conduct while your actions are always wrong because they are your actions is simply a contest that can't be won.

All I wanted was equal treatment and never got it.

I *wish* the worst we had to deal with from our peers was simply not having friends. I know I would have been thrilled in middle school if people had chosen simply to let me be, neither befriending nor tormenting me. I'm not that social anyways, so I wouldn't miss the lack of human contact.

It is a fact of life that aspie and typpie brains are wired differently, and it is difficult or impossible for one to understand fully how the other thinks.

There's a signature someone used here on WP that I think is very appropriate in this situation. Goes something like: Those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.

College was much better because socialization wasn't forced on me, I was free to for the most part, socialize or not socialize as I saw fit, and I didn't socialize much, other than the stuff my parents and sister crammed down my throat.

It's strange, they didn't care about me having friends or social life in high school or before, but then started trying to force one on me in college. Fortunately it all stopped once my sister left home.

Once I asked one of the boys why he hates me so much, and he didn't have a reason. It was him who I asked cos he was the one who actually used the word hate. But I don't care what he thinks anymore, he's a twat.
