My First Week of College is Over!! !

Hey everybody, I have now survived my first week of college! I didn't leave home yet because I am attending a community college.

I am taking three classes: Anthropology 101, Math 095, and English 101. I really like all of my teachers. My anthropology teacher is my favourite. He is hilarious (he loves the Daily Show and tells a lot of Bush jokes)! My math teacher is nice (he also has a heavy accent that is sort of difficult to understand sometimes). My English teacher is absolutely insane (I can't even think of another way to describe him).

I haven't talked to my teachers about AS yet, but I am getting a copy of my accomodations from our college's resource center to give them on Monday. I think that all my teachers will be helpful, though.

I think college is so much better than high school!! !

When I was in college, I met with someone at the academic support center at the beginning of each semester, and we discussed what modifications I would need. The only modification was the one wherein if I needed it, I would get extra time on my exams. I only needed it during my physics course. There were two physics courses: one calculus-based and one algebra-based. I used it only for the former than the latter.

I have that too. I also have the option of taking exams in the resource center if I find taking tests in the classrooms too distracting.
