depends.

our lab write ups weren't that bad....then again I did summer sesh (three weeks, five days a week of class three hours plus lab....six hours in class/lab) it was Environmental Bio, I was going to take it during the coming year, but I got lucky and there was a summer term class.

From what I heard it's more about the prof that assigns it then the lab itself, that's how it goes at my college.

A very good question - I'm on a chemistry course at my university. I put this much stuff in the beaker and then I put this much stuff in another beaker, then I mixed them together - I know I did that 'cause it said to do that on the instruction sheet, so why do I need to say I did it. Why don't I just stick the sheet in my lab book and write down the results/observations - it would make more sense like that.

I didn't cheat per say on my lab write ups, but when I realized my college physics labs were more or less like my advanced high school ones, I dug those babies up, reworked some data, used the Thesaurus and volia!
