I have to do an interview for one of the universities I am applying to. Should I tell the interviewer that I have PDD-NOS?
I don't want him to think that I am rude or not interested in the school, because the school is my first choice. I also don't want him to think that I am making excuses for everything, or that I am trying to get him to feel sorry for me so I can get accepted to the university.
Also, do the interviewers typically have access to the applications? I wrote about having PDD in my essay, and so would he already have read it?
If I should tell him, how should I do it? "Oh, by the way, I have PDD..." is probably not a good choice. Maybe I could take in my essay, in case he hasn't read it, or some information about autism spectrum disorders (maybe from the DSM IV?).
I kind of confused about this whole process. I've never done an interview before, although I know I'll have to do one or two more for some things I'm applying to this summer.
Help?

Just play it cool. 8)

It's likely the interviewer has seen your essay.

If it comes up, talk openly about it, and be brief. Otherwise, leave it alone. If it makes you feel better, you could take in an article about it to hand over in case he wants more info.

Most likely, the interviewer will look at your past academic success and judge how well you'll do there. If you handled high school well in spite of the PDD, then he'll figure you'll keep up the good record in college.

Break a leg! :)

Hmm, I was thinking of writing my App essay on AS.
My mother says she doesn't think that's a good idea.

Tell me if yours works.
