Which is something I don't even care or even making a big deal about of it (like anything exciting and important will happen my junior year of high school).

I'm going to grad school this year I am very excited!
And Junior year isn't nearly as bad as freshman or sophomore. It's the year things get slightly better, in my opinion. :D

2 things I am excited about:

I am going to the east-side technical school for a network security class
and finally! Math class! I have been missing new math problems since summer started!

I'm taking chemistry, calculus, computer engineering, and a graduate course in neurobiology (one of my favorite subjects), so I'm pretty excited.

I just got out of my junior year at high school. I constantly felt worthless and stupid, and I'd frequently go crazy about staying on the honor roll. I was constantly too afraid to talk to the people I wanted to. I've since started muttering, twitching, and cutting. Despite what they say, I doubt senior year will be any better. The only reason I want to go back is so I can pretend that I have a social life again and finish off high school. I really just want to go to an art school so I can do something I'm good at and enjoy.

uh oh. i haven't even thought about going back to school. darn it. i'm going to have to take at least a semester off before i'm ready to go back, and even then i'm going to have to transfer to a different university. oh hell, that's too much for me to think about right now.

I am excited about starting graduate school but I'm still nervous at how large my school is. I graduated from a college with only 2,000 students and it was amazing. But this school is the classic super large urban city college. Its always an excuse to go back to school shopping though :D

yalp. I'll be a junior in college this year. we don't start til September first or second, but my department has to be back a week early, and those of us who are on the leadership level of the department have to be back a week before us. I work for the Institutional Technology department, which is the department that oversees everything tech wise on campus from the computers that the students get handed at orientation to the network which we maintain (and which has squirrels knocking it out every couple of weeks) and everything else. It's not a bad job, unless the squirrel causes an issue like eating a line that's connected to us, which is connected to the rest of the school. Then.....yeah, we have issues.

But yes. I'm ready to be back at school. Summer has been too long, and school feels more like home then where I am for the summer does (which is my actual house, but I digress)

I'm going to be a high school junior this year. There are certain aspects about the upcoming school year that I am excited about, such as being an upperclassman, but other aspects that I am really dreading.

I've made a lot of friends last year, so I can't wait to see them again at school and hopefully become better friends with them. Also, being a junior, I will be able to go off-campus for lunch (restricted for juniors and seniors only), and although I do not have a car nor can I drive, perhaps I can just hitch a ride from a friend.

I am not looking forward to having to take P.E. this year. However, my mom was manager of the track team when she was in high school, so maybe I can request to be manager of some sports team. There are other classes that I am not looking forward to, such as Algebra 2 and Spanish 2.

Overall, I have mixed feelings about the approaching school year, which starts on the 25th of August in my school district.

^I start the 25th as well for my junior year at Mason. I actually move into the dorms the 23rd and I'm okay with it.

I'm pretty excited, I'll be going into my last year of college this year. Though I saved most of the lame classes for these last 2 semesters, i.e the phys ed, French and Quantitative Methods/Research stuff. But at least I won't have to juggle geography, history and psychology papers, as much as I actually do enjoy those subjects.
