Is $195 reasonable for a parking decal for a college with about 30,000 students? That's how much mine is at Texas State.

My previous school, Midwestern State (in Wichita Falls, TX), only charged $10 for one. It had 6,000 students.

My community college only charged $2.

Actually, they can charge whatever they want. It is a private lot and they will charge whatever the market will bear. I think this is another way for the college to rap^H^H^H^Hmake more money off of the student.

At $195 though, I am sure they and the community has an aggressive parking enforcement campaign. Otherwise, people would simply risk parking without a decal.

When I saw the price tag, I was in total shock.
