Secretary at my Work-Study job...a rant

Well, first of all, let me say: My work-study job is probably the least demanding job in the world. I watch the desk when the secretary isn't there, and then when no one shows up, I do my work.

Moving on...

The secretary at my work-study job is...hotheaded. I told her that maybe the problem we had wasn't the computer, but the printer and she went off on me! The IT people came down and told her that the problem was pretty much what she suspected (she told them that), and then she said "Oh, well, that's what I meant. Sorry if I didn't use the correct vernacular." She's mean to me on occasion as well, but is friendly towards most other people. I wish I knew what it was that I had done to her . She thinks that the smallest things are the biggest deal, and consequently gets p*ssed off at them really quickly.

My question is this: How do you deal with someone like this?
