I spent six years to become one and hated nursing school, but did that give me an indication I wouldn't like nursing? Nooo...
I totally regret the time and money and energy spent on this endeavor.

Now I have an arm injury and can't do the job I'm highly trained for.

You interact with at least 100 people on any given shift, most of whom you've never met. Therapeutic communication is essential constantly. I could go on, but I would seriously rethink it if I were you. Or at least go volunteer in a hospital so you can see all the various things. I didn't even mention the constant noise, alarms...runs screaming out of the hospital...

I work with a surgeon who is an aspie and it is the perfect job for him. He is world renowned in his field. He loves having doctors visit from other hospitals/countries and he becomes so excited discussing his favoured surgical technique for hours.

I'd want him working on me if I needed surgery.

I am a physio and loooooooove my job!! I am N.T. and love the interaction with patients.

I work with people with chronic lung diseases - mostly emphysema.
