And I can't figure out how to stop them from coming out my mouth. I have this problem about once a week, mostly around my classmates and my step-brother. Anyone else have a similar problem ? If so, what do you do about it ? My sounds are like a weird "yyeeeee" and some weird laughter that isn't really mine. Most people do not think it is funny. 2 of my classmates do with me and do the wierd "yyeee" just to make fun of me.
I can not notice when they are making fun of me and think that they are my friends.

My mom told me that and those 2 boys in my class are really big troublemakers I guess. I really enjoyed it until mom told me that all they were doing was making fun of me. I Learned to try to ignore that behavior. But it is hard without hardly any friends.

Nothing other than I do something similar. I just repeat phrases/words or sing a line from a song or a certain tune over and over though.

I have this problem every now and then similar to that where I will say a word, and it will sound different in my head, and I will have this urge to keep saying that word until I am satisfied(which is really weird, I know).
About your sounds though, when you hear them in your head, do you automatically make the sound? Or is there time in between hearing it and saying it?

Thanks Jamesp - I usually have a couple of seconds between when I hear it in my head and have the urge to say it.

Ok, well next time you hear it, right after you hear it try singing a song for as long as you can and see if you never make the noise. If you don't, tell me and keep trying that. If you do still make the noise, I may be able to think of something else.

I am 18 and I get something like that. I just feel like screaming and jumping and flapping my hands occasionally, I think they're sort of spasms of energy, not sure whether that's like your problem but it's the closest I can think of. When it happens people do laugh. You just have to ignore them and think to yourself that you're special and see the world and behave differently to them. They will never understand and if they are friends you should warn them that sometimes you may do strange things and they will be prepared and less likely to laugh. Anyway, I bet few of your friends are as good with computers or spelling as you are at your age :)
As for friends, I had real trouble maintaining friendships until I started secondary school at 11 (in UK, about Grade 6 I THINK) when I met one really amazing person who understood me perfectly and bears with me through everything! Her brother is severely autistic and my sister is disabled too so we just clicked (I wasn't particuarly aware of my autism then) since then I have made a small group of really close understanding friends and even a guy (who may possibly be a bit more) so you just need to give it time.
You'll get there.
:D

Could you put your hand over your mouth after you hear the noise? I made lots of noises as a kid, still do but I only do them at home now.

just be yourself, ignore those who make fun of you.
Does your family know about this and ask you to change this habit?
