If he's two years old, how could he leave? Oh, you meant your husband.

I'm married and have a twelve year old and six year old dottir. It hasn't been easy, and has taken a lot of resolve to stay together. but here we are, and things keep getting better.

Married - to another Aspie!

We had no idea we had any kind of diagnosis, but knew no one else could possibly stand either one of us. It was only later that the diagnosis became apparent. Then it all made sense.

It is great now. But it took 40+ years to find her....

Married 18 years to a man who's not AS, but not sure I'd call him an NT. He's the smartest person I've ever met, with his own set of anxiety and OCD issues. We're best friends.

married 8 years now .

My wife pursued me or I believe it wouldn't have happened; I'm awkward/inept at small talk and hence never dated anyone before her..... (she has ADD issues.)
I always thought my chance of getting married was as probable as being struck by lighting ,but it happened. :)

Married for second time. First marriage was a disaster. Second has had hard times, cross cultural marriage where his is extremely socially active and of group mentality..... found all this extremely difficult. Now all OK. Live far away from the madding crowds now! Plus now I understand why I'm like I am it is easier to deal with.

Married 11 1/2 years. It was a complete and total happy accident. She was a mail-order customer. We became friends, then more, and I left my country behind to come here to be with her. Best thing I ever did... but it didn't happen until I was 39.

Married six years, have two children.

Both hubby and I had dating relationships in the past, but it was a first marriage for both of us (neither of us was previously married or was living together with a partner). We met and married when I was in my early thirties and he was in his late thirties.

I have been married for 5 years, and have three children. The status of my marriage is always in question.
