Fashion woops at work

I was wearing a company issued V sweater over an black undershirt. I must have tucked in my undershirt a little too much because a very light amount of top of my chest hair was visible. This is the one time I made a dress faux paus at work out of the 1 yr +3 months since I started. I think I got one nasty look and it can only be because of that. It kind of got me depressed for the rest of the day.

I remember one guy at work. He always wore a white short sleeve dress shirt to work each day. I suspect he had several in his closet, all the same. The only problem was that he wore them for years and they had turned yellow over time.

For me, I have severe color blindness. So the colors that I see do not match the colors other see. I would show up with the weirdest outfits. Such as a shocking pink shirt and yellow pants. Most NTs would avoid even looking at me because it made them dizzy. I solved that problem when I married and I left it up to my wife to select my clothes from then on.

so what is your point? I screwed up at work or not?

Only in a minor way, so don't sweat it. If management feels you broke some rule, official or otherwise, they will probably pull you aside and discuss the issue with you.
