I've also noticed in other threads about people's bosses and working in Starbucks and being yelled at or reprimanded in front of a customer - see, I couldn't cope with that in a 9-to5, if someone tried that on me, they'd end up being yelled back at, having coffee thrown in their face or crockery broken over their head (a la Laurel & Hardy).

Advert: Are you an Aspie? Do you have a pain in the ass boss? Ask me, Stevie C to come on work experience where you work and I'll sort your boss out once and for all. [/advert]

I'm just not suited for a "9 to 5" (read: people) job.

i WANT TO WORK - but what i'm saying is, shouldn't i be getting the minimum wage for doing the same work as someone else (instead of the benefit i currently get, although soon won't)?

If your receiving benefits that's part of your pay so I would say no. If your not receiving benefits, I absolutely say Yes you deserve the same wage as others.

im not saying i should get national minimum wage AS WELL AS benefits, im saying why should i get paid £1.20 per hour for doing the same work for the same hours as everyone else who gets paid £6.03 (or more if they have had a raise) per hour?

£1.20 an hour wouldn't cover my lunch and the bus back home...

You should be able to get your bus fare paid for you.
