How could people be fine with the structure in armies?

Army structure in the future will be a bunch of aspies on computers playing shooting games.

For most people in the military, this is only what it's like in basic training. Basic training is a process meant to make sure people can follow directions, pay attention to detail, handle stress, etc. It's much more difficult than everyday military life, except perhaps for people who go into combat situations. Once you know that they are just testing everyone, it's not so difficult to just wait it out until you graduate and get to your real job. Also, once you understand the rules well enough to follow them, you don't get yelled at very often, and the drill sergeant sees that you are doing what you are supposed to and eases up after the first few weeks.

That's why I personally couldn't handle it. I can't handle stress and people yelling at me and ordering me around. It just makes me withdraw and shut down until they go away or it escalates so bad that someone makes them stop.
