Maybe you won't. Maybe you are an employee worth hiring but I think the point starkid is trying to make is that there is usually a reason for adults to not have held down a job. Overall hiring these type of people (not necessarily autistic people) is likely to cause problems. Speaking for myself personally I am not a good employee from an employers point of view. I become overwhelmed by my problems to the point where I cannot focus on my work. This and my lack of social skills are the main reasons I cannot hold down a job for very long. Starkid is right about putting business needs before emotions when hiring. It's a shame because I can see your point of view also and I'm all for giving people a chance but it just doesn't make good business sense to do that all the time as the business manager would have a lot of problems.
