In the end, the manager threw in a free 1 GB card for it, and apparantly they were quite happy with that.

The vast majority voted to do nothing.

It is important to have a good relationship with customers, and giving the 1 gb card (which doesn't cost the store very much anyway) was a nice gesture that should help.
