I think you'll find that it's still possible to develop new & useful skills once you have left school. Our skill set doesn't get frozen when we graduate & that's all there is for us. If that were true, I wouldn't have been able to get a job in a technical/engineering field, since I would have been locked in as a musician.

Personally, I find the need to learn new skills all the time - so I just do. You can too - make the decision to acquire a skill and then do what it takes (whether that means going back to school, or buying a book to teach yourself.) Sometimes it's easy - sometimes it's difficult - but it is usually worth the effort. :)
