Working at McDonalds - HELL within 1 week

I can tell from working a similar job, that you'll master it in time. You might even become super good at it. I can tell you from working at Starbucks that it was a nightmare at first. I did mostly closing work, so it was a lot of cleaning this and that, setting up this, taking down that, filling up the sugars, milks, etc etc very overwhelming at first.

Now most things are second nature, BUT, I still make these stupid little mistakes, little blind spots in my head when I forget something



And the timers, grinders, steamers, all the noise that goes on is tolerable. I dont really get anxiety from it, it's just hard to concentrate. You might feel less anxious as you become used to the tasks at hand.

With that said, I'd probably not recommend a fast food job/fast coffee job to anyone with AS, but you and I already have the job so....you could make it a matter of personal pride....
