I'm curious to know what's the situation in the various countries for those with AS or related conditions. Can you get financial help from the state for your condition ? I ask because since I finished university and "entered" the work field things have gone pretty down, I mean, I have much better self esteem, I know what I want and I'm ok with myself, but at the same time I realize how unfit I am for the job market. Leaving alone an experience with pizza delivery all my other working experiences have been traumatazing, psychologically and also physically. As long as I was in school I felt pretty much a normal person, weird but still a person. Right now all I want is just be on my own, I realize how different my priorities are compared to those of normal people, the social-empotional delay is so salient. In school you can succedd just with your intelligence and everythings fine, in the working field it doesn't work that way. The very concept of working makes no sense to me. Right now I work in a shop owned by my family but of course I don't like it, it seems to me that an aid to people with AS would be a right thing, so I'm curious to know how things work around the world. Do you receive help ? What are the criteria ?
