On Thurs. I go to a Job Coach to fill out some paperwork and she helps me find a job goes to interviews with me etc. but I'm so scared and nervous. Truthfully if I had my way I'd just go back to College and NOT get a job. :-( My last job lasted from March 2006-June 2006 since I had a surgery planned (that later didn't happen) but still there over a 4hr. part-time day I'd go cry in the bathroom 30min-1hr. since I was upset over not being in College. :-( I know it's not possible now (financially speaking) but I don't know how to be motivated with a job. :-( I DON'T WANT 9-5 I WANT A CAREER!! !! AND TO BE TRULY HAPPY IN COLLEGE!! !! !! !! !! :-( How do I stay focused?

With the Open University, you can pay course fees in instalments (typically about £700 over the course of a year -- may be a little more for overseas students). I don't know if that's within your means or not.

This is distance learning BTW, not university proper. All coursework is submitted over the internet and you have a tutor that you can e-mail to your heart's content -- you also have unlimited access to academic journals/articles through online services like Jstor etc.

See www.open.ac.uk for more info. You might also look for a US equivalent which might save you a bit of money.

If you have a job, you can save money for college. Think of the job as working toward your goals, not something that's keeping you from them.
