I am in my 20s, and don't ever ask for my age ever again. That is very condescending and rude! I was only trying to vent, and instead of offering sympathy or help, you try to act all superior to me just because you're maturity level is higher than mine. I have a right to vent, you know.

You should refine your post to say "I am sick of success stories in general".

I think success for anyone, whether you're NT or whatever, is not based on patience or luck or simply waiting for something to happen to you. If you study success stories, you'll find that most people spend years working at their craft, and are driven to succeed.

Sure, Bill Gates started Microsoft when he was 20 or so, but he also started his first company when he was 16.

Stephen King published his first short story in 1965, but his first novel wasn't published until 1973. People say, "Wow! He published Carrie and received enough money to quit his job and write full time! What luck!" It wasn't luck. He earned it, by writing every day and not quitting, no matter how bleak things looked.

Steven Spielberg started making films his in teens. He later got an internship with a movie studio while still in college, caught their interest with a short film, and started out directing television. No one showed up one day and said, "Here, we want you to direct Jaws." He had to work up to it.

Just about any success story you can find follows a similar pattern. A person sets a goal, and then spends year achieving it. All their raw talent would be worth nothing without this hard work.

So, what's your goal? What talent are you developing? And what are doing to achieve your goal?
