Mr Mop
Fortunately, not too long after the disaster I made of my last job, I got a job a couple of week ago as a casual cleaner for the local council.
Work is not guaranteed but there is quite a bit available at the moment. Currently I am covering for someone who is on long term sick leave at a local primary school. Unlike older people at comprehensive schools, the infants tend to keep the toilets a bit cleaner.
The pay is decent and at the moment I am doing 3 hours per day, which is ideal. I'm pretty much on my own after the first half an hour as all the children have gone and the teachers are just doing paper work, so I am left to get on with the work on my own.
I've been there two weeks now and so far it has been successful.
I've no idea where I will be during/after the summer holidays though.
