If you have had success with this please let me know. I have been assigned to the dairy section of a grocery store and am having problems multi-tasking. I have learned that the Asperger brain has to learn the specific details of a job first before he gets the general idea of how to successfully complete a job. Basically you have to piece the details into a general principle.
Here is what I have figured out so far. Whenever your manager gives you a list of things to do you have to prioritize which is more important than the other. Usually it is good to start with the cosmetic stuff first then on to the physically heavy labor task next, then the tedious task. When they give you a time frame to do something in it is subjective what that means is if they say no more than 30-45 minutes the task could take longer.
AHA and here is the first step in learning how to multitask. While are you doing a job, you want to have the tasks FLOW into eachother. For example, while you are performing one task, figure out ways to integrate one into the other. If you have a section of juice and a section of eggs next to eachother, take a look at the eggs and see which eggs are low and need to be replaced and which do not. When you chop up the tasks, meaning perform each in a specific amount of time, that actually eats up more time than you realize.
This is all that I have for now. If you have anything to add please feel free.
