What are the procedures to disclose disabilities?
I understand, that the disclosure should be done AFTER the job offer and directly to HR. (Minimize discrimination)
Are there any forms etc to facilitate this process? Since, I don't know exactly what the work will EXACTLY entail I don't have anything to request for a reasonable accommodation. However, I do know I only have a certain amount of time to disclose after I get a job offer. Also, I believe they get a tax incentive for hiring someone with a disability.
Do you need to get it certified by my doctor or what?
For my last positions I didn't disclose and I don't think it served me well. Overall I think I can "pass" but for days that I seem a little "off" I don't want that to be misinterpreted.
