Hey Everyone 
Going to be looking for work or business opportunities in the immediate future, so I will put this up and maybe others can add to it, then we can pull from the best and condense it.
Ok, the realities I face are the following:
Disorganized Schizophrenia (Schiz) Diagnosis
Short Term Memory Impairment (sometimes my memory is so bad that I open up a new tab in my browser and I totally blank what I was going to look for), it feels so good to know that some of you can relate to this, I hate trying to have to explain it to everyone.
Concentration ability is very very tough, sometimes peoples phone numbers confuse me.
Ability to communicate what I am trying to say quickly is a problem all of the time. When I am talking I kind of fall into myself mentally, if this makes sense.
Alot of times when I type something out I will mix up words and have to go back through it over and over.
Skill Set and Work History Overview:
Worked for the army for 2 years in Iraq as a contractor on a showcase web portal as a designer. This site was used as a model for 8 other global websites.
(kind of hard to use this in a portfolio cause the site is in Arabic lol). 2007-2009
Worked for 2 years in a casino as a PC Technician
2003-2005
Worked for the 3 years as an Adobe Support Technician through a call center. I supported 8 different products on two different operating systems.
1999-2002
Where I would like to be:
Telecommute as a web designer with no code requirments. I have tried coding in the past month and I get confused looking at the code.
Start an online web gallery for artists with mental disabilities. I have the domain, and artists actually have a particular style that they USED to be classified under, that has since been hijacked by other artist groups. My personal choice and the domain name I have registered is schizart. In this model yes I would be the owner receiving a percentage, however this would be determined by an advisory (juried) board, and a fund would also be setup and overseen by the advisory board that would contribute to people seeking assistance with medication. I really have a strong desire for this, but the trouble is finding other artists lol. And yes I would display my art also, I would provide an address to my art however the board will not let me post my address yet.
I have other ideas regarding projects to setup that could be used as work opportunities for people who share the same work challenges I do. It would be good to have a forum with others to discuss them, consider the validity and see if they could be pursued.
I am under the gun financially right now to continue making payments on responsibilities I took on when I was better and able to work (even though looking back now I am not sure how I functioned lol). If anyone has any additional ideas on finding job opportunities or other opportunities, I would love to hear them. I understand the reality that at this late date for me I may have to let items be repossessed, however I am still holding out hope.
