Im not sure this belongs here but I couldn't find a closer forum in the index. Does anyone know how cheap a 25 yo male with a clean driving record and aspergers can get car insurance? The aspergers comes up, right?

Thank you!

You have no obligation to tell them you have Asperger's as far as I know.

i was paying 60/mo for full coverage on a 4000$ car at 21 yrs of age and clean record.

turns out that i didn't need it, but liability was only 40/mo, so i did the math and and the 60/mo was worth it IMO, at the time.

What's a "single mail"? Is it when you only get one letter?

To be honest, I think aspergers should get a discount on insurance. Most aspies are more careful than NTs with such matters; If an aspie has the motor control to be able to drive a car, said aspie would be much more defensive than their NT peers. I have been in two accidents, neither of which were my fault, despite being in the high-risk under 25 male group.

As long as the Aspie in question has good motor skills, this is generally true. The issue is that - because they're allowed to get away with it - whenever ANY young driver asks car insurance companies for a quote, even if the car they own is a piece of slow, cheap crap, they have only one response:

If you are a young driver, take "Pass Plus" lessons, it costs about £300, but insurance companies will, most of the time give you a 30% discount.

They dont usually ask you if you have it, so you have to tell them about it.

Hello spammer. OP is in the US, not the UK. Nice try though.
