In need of employment and living arrangments...

I'm a new user and perhaps I should do the customary introduction, but frankly I don't have the energy to waste on frivolous social niceties at this particular moment in time. I'm getting rather impatient frankly.

Right now, I'm 26 years old and in need of a place of employment. The Illinois DHS is giving me hell and has been for nearly an entire year with no results. It's also ranked very low in terms of disabled people's housing opportunities. I need out and I want out badly, but my prospects to make it happen are incredibly bleak. If anyone knows of someone that can get me out of here to get a better life, I'd appreciate the favor very much.

The job market, as you well know, is not great. That being said, if you are single and can relocate (I mean out of state if necessary); there are jobs.
Government jobs are some of the worst (and overlooked), but most people don't want them. They just won't move for work.
Did you try looking at usajobs? Some disabilities qualify for preference in the hiring process. Pay may not be optimal, but some jobs have housing available or per-diem to offset costs. YMMV

In the state that I live in, if a person has a known disability, they could apply for employment at places such as Goodwill Industries.

I would suspect that you could do the same if you applied yourself.

They have all kinds of different jobs such as loading and unloading trucks, sorting clothes and stuff and even cutting up fabric for the bag of rags that they sell.
