I got a call early in the morning from a recruitment agent woman. She talked very fast and had lots of intonation in her voice. She was on the phone for about 10mins telling me some vague description of a job and asking me questions. She then said she will send me details of a job she thinks I am suitable for in an email. She confirmed my email on the phone.

The call made me tired and the rest of the day I felt exhausted but then couldn't sleep at night. And not only that she didn't even send me details of the job.

I thought the call was bogus and maybe she was just using me to practice her telephone skills.

Does anyone find these people annoying? Even though I want a job I don't want to deal with them.

Maybe she was trying to get information that could be used to steal your identity.

Well I didnt tell her anything personal. She only has my cv, no bank details or anything. Maybe she thought I didn't sound lively and enthusiastic enough.

You could always have asked her to slow down a bit.

I was too stunned to ask her to slow down.
