Am I the only Aspie who can't hold down a job?

My previous job I lasted 1 month in. And then was let go.

Before that, I had one which lasted for seven months.

In between jobs, it can be a long time before I find another one. Months and months of unemployment, just sitting around, getting restless and depressed.

Even for an Aspie, am I hopeless? Are there others who just can't handle jobs? They keep getting let go?

Do they tell you why they are letting you go? If it is something you've done, maybe you can keep it from happening at the next job. Just a thought.

<--- Lasted 2 days at Pizza Hut. Oy! Couldn't get the smell of the condiments out of my hands!
<--- Lasted about 2 weeks working the produce section at Waldbaum's Supermarket. I guess they thought I wasn't slinging the produce fast enough.
<--- Lasted six months at a Nursing Home. Was fired.
<--- Lasted three months at a Nursing Home. Was fired.
