How do you approach safety regulations?

1. I only follow what my supervisor says regardless of company safety regulations.

2. I make sure to follow all safety rules, even the ones that do not make any sense.

3. I follow most safety rules.

4. I only skip safety rules that do not make sense.

Im constantly violating them, so meh :/

Safety regulations are there for a reason! I've worked in chemical plants and in those places, not following the safety regulations can end up getting you killed or seriously injured. There was actually someone that ended up in the hospital for a month because wiped his forehead while he was wearing latex gloves (they had chemicals on them apparently).

How I approach safety regulations depends on the safety regulation and whether or not it's necessary(or makes any sense, for that matter).
