This past week, with university starting again and attending an adult aspergers support group, its clear to me that the resources around me, where I am are very poor. Many cut backs at university, in the area that I am studying, which may include disability services. And a clear total lack of any funding with regards to the aspergers’ support group, including its lack of any influence it has over the wider community. Its sad when a person has to travel some 4-5 hours to run the support group, when there is no-one in the city itself!

It has left me pondering the question of relocation again, and again. And I am whinging a bit here, I must admit, but...

May I ask anyone who has achieved it; has relocation been beneficial in feeling stable and secure, along with better employment and/or other opportunities?

Did the relocation process involve family connections, or friends, external organisations or just going for it? Taking a chance, purely on your own?

Any information or inspiration would be greatly received! :)
