Hello folks,

I am looking for internships and summer employment, but so far its a no go. I need to apply for one internship, but beside sthat, I have applied for all the possible positions I believe I could carry out. I don't think I would do well in fast food (too fast pace), and walmart isn't hiring. I am kind of frustrated, but that is besides the point. I am working on writing a bit, but waiting for my pc to get fixed. I am contemplating after I am done with my BA maybe applying for an internship to study in China, since they will pay for everything. I am studying for a degree in finance. My point? Idk, just rambling. I want to gain some temp employment so I can build up my reserves and maybe buy some cheap real estate or investments to live off of. I might be idealistic, but long term I want to move, ideally to maybe Davao, and live off income. Any thoughts on my ramblings? XD

you are both young and on the right track, that is something the key is to take advantage of your youth by $aving $aving $AVING as much $$$$$$$ while you are young and the power of compound interest can better work in your favor. save and invest in things with a future, half and half with investing in things that pay you to invest in them [dividends]. with an education you likely [if you live in a cheaper part of the world] can retire early and do what you wanna do instead of what you hafta do.

Auntblabby is right. Actually, my grandfather used to say, 'open all doors for saving, and close them against spending!'
