Work has gone poorly and it has been a struggle because I am not given full time hours, I get the "leftover" grunt work, and now a boss who does not fit into the company culture at all! I just want to call it quits. I have worked so hard overcoming my challenges and being a good worker. Management has said they love my work but I don't get the work that matches my skills. I work with people with disabilities and I have embraced my Aspergers to learn about we autistic people. I am told I have good insight. I started out helping my mom when I was 9 in her special ed classroom. I am now 32. My current company paid for my two year program and I finished with a 3.5 GPA. I believe I am being discrminated against at work due to the knowledge of my disability. My pay was reduced, my position was "closed", and now I am getting crappy hours with a client that is a poor match for me. If I am forced to quit, I just might contact an attorney. Thanks for listening!

You know, it's interesting. The large amounts of negative posts regarding bad jobs I've read on WP in the past few weeks is stunning. Seems like lots and lots of us are complaining about our jobs and having employment issues, me included. It's good to have the company but it's bad that it's over the same negative experience.

I suppose I should tell you to count your blessings and be happy you aren't in the phase of studying until your face falls off, because that's where I'm at. My life's improved since I started seeking out people who needed to learn about my experiences on here, so my only better suggestion might be to find some friends in your personal life who could use the same type of guidance, provided you can hold up a conversation with them. No matter if it's your life's work, relating to those in need can always improve your job prospects.
