I am an aspie and I just got hired by a temp agency to work in a ware house for amazon. I have heard good and bad things but it seems to be very strict. I am supposed to be working as a full time temp 40 hours a week with 20 hours mandatory over time. I have heard that they make you work one night a week but I am trying to get the night shift.
I am not sure what shift I may have or what task I may be told to do, so advice from all backgrounds is helpful. The main issue I seem to see with this job is that I will be working everyday of the week and I get no time off from November 1st- the end of December. I think I may have to take it due to our financial situation but I still would like to know other peoples experiences and what I might expect to have trouble with.
This is only my second job the other being a part time cashier, and i am 20, if it is rellevant.

Try it out for a day or two. If it seems insane, just quit and don't ever put it on your resume. I've done this several times before. It's hard to tell how a job is going to be beforehand because usually in my experience it's more the people that make the job good or bad rather than the work itself.
My first job was at a Submarine / Mini Pizza place on campus at my University, over the lunchtime shift a few days a week. Even though the work was kind of hectic sometimes, the people there were pretty easy-going and fun to work with, so I liked it. The next job I applied to after that was at Subway (sandwiches). Even though it was basically the exact same type of work, it was run like a nuthouse, so after working one full shift to give it a fair try I told them it wasn't for me and looked for a different job instead.
