I have been trying to change jobs for some years to now and am fed up with job adds and job specs asking for good interpersonal and communication skills for IT jobs. In an industry where allot of us would be in our element and could really thrive. To many interviews focus to much on personality and people skills even in technical jobs where this is not essential. This is one of many skills and some people are better at other things but they seen to be more interested in this rather than somebody that can do the job although they are probably missing out on loyal and creative people because of this. I also wonder who many of these people know the meaning of the word introvert.
