Should be a 'not so truthful'?

I found a job I really want and unlike others that will let you tick an 'undisclosed' option their Equal opportunities form wants you to list
your exact religion and sexuality.
I doubt they would ever find out I was bi so I thinking of just ticking hetrosexual and I'm not sure what to do with the religion section at all if you tick other it says 'please specify' and I certainly am not doing that.

I don't want to disclose any of these things. If anyone brought them up at a work place I would surely die internally of a panic attack.

I am not a lawyer, but i know that in the United States, any such questions would be strictly voluntary as ininvitation to join the company diversity communities or something like that. Even a hint of requiring that information would open the employer to lawsuits and no general counsel would permit it.

No idea how that works in other countries.

See, for example: http://www.hum.wa.gov/faq/FAQSexualOrientation3.html

They do not need to give you the real reason why they did not hire you. They can lie. It can be a catch 22. Maybe they want to hire trans sexual, hump back, Satanists. Who knows. I would be honest. If they have a problem with the way you are, you will not want to work there. That stuff is about the people, not the job.
