I am fed up. Can I attempt to get SSI because of communication issues resulting from the stress, etc and AS? Any help would be appreciated.

Before going through the hassle of SSI; have you tried getting help with the communication issues?

Yes, been there 20+ years…had some time off in between, same company. All my reviews are "she is the person to go to, everyone depends on her, her attention to detail is amazing, she finds the issues nobody else finds, blah, blah, blah…"…then…"needs to work on communication"…blah! No matter what I do, I am either bullied (I wrote about it before) when I try to remain quiet or told I need to work on communication…worn out.

with your work history, you'd get SSDI, not SSI. more money, less restrictions.
