Will someone tell me not to worry about my new job?

I just got hired and I went yesterday to fill out new hire paperwork and pick up my uniform. The manager said she'd call me by 7 or 8 to tell me when to come in for training, but then she never called. There was a big storm, and I guess the store could also have been really busy, so I'm trying hard not to worry too much but I am sort of paranoid that they just changed their minds about wanting me and are never going to call me again. That wouldn't really happen after they gave me the uniform, would it?

Chances are, especially as there was a big storm, that the day didn't go as planned and the manager got caught up with other things and either didn't get a chance to get a training schedule worked out or couldn't find time to phone you.
