I'm going to be working the evening shift at UPS as a package handler, and I'm getting $10 an hour with full medical.
Not bad for a fresh high school graduate, eh?

Hi, KK! I was wondering if anyone would notice I was gone again.
My MIL flew into Chicago because she doesn't like transfers and it's impossible to get a direct international flight to St. Louis. Just spent a couple days up there with the family and was too cheap to pony up for internet access at the hotel for the little time we spent there. On the bright side, I finally got to go to the Museum of Science and Industry. It was so cool, wish we could've seen more of it.
Good to be back and in my routine, though, I missed the forums.

You got a full-time gig right away!
Most of the time, people have to go part-time before they get the benefits.

I promise I'm going to college! I wanna be a radiologist so bad!! !
This will only be for about 4-5 years, or until I can find a decent job in my field.

I know. I was expecting no medical (which wouldn't matter much anyway because I'm double-covered by Kaiser anyway), but this was a pleasant surprise. I also use public transit a lot, so they'll cover that too. HR noticed that I was attending college too, so they offered to pay for that.
I'm just... wow. I'm blown away with how awesome these people are. I feel really lucky.
