Hello everyone,

auticon is one of Germany?s most successful and fastest growing social enterprises, the first German company to exclusively employ people with autism as consultants in the IT industry. The auticon model empowers those on the spectrum to access and maintain highly skilled and well-paid employment by drawing on individuals? special skills and interests as well as creating an ?autism-friendly? work environment.

We do believe that the auticon model can have an essential impact on the quality of life of people with Aspergers or HFA by creating sustainable and rewarding employment opportunities.

auticon was founded in 2011 and since then has been successfully established in six major cities in Germany. The next step for auticon is to apply the model outside Germany. As Greater London is a leading location in terms of autism research and practice as well as information technologies, we are considering setting up auticon UK in that area.

Before we finalise our decision to enter the UK market, we?d like to get to know the Londoner autism community and establish a network of contacts. We are particularly interested in obtaining direct advice from members of the Londoner autism community in order to find out whether there is a demand for IT jobs and also what kind of hobbies and special interests people on the spectrum enjoy pursuing in London.
