Do you have the kind of job where you don't get off at a set time? In other words, the kind of job where you have a specific start time for each day but not a specific end time- which means you basically get off when the boss decides so. I deliver pizza right now and it's like that, and I used to stock shelves at a grocery store and it was also like that. I, personally, have a very hard time dealing with this- in fact, big time! I'm happy with my job but being in the middle of a typical work day and having no idea when I will get off is stressful and frustrating to me. I find this single thing makes my job seem much less enjoyable. It in fact makes me very anxious, and sometimes I've actually meltdowns at work on days I work late (of course I hid in the bathroom when I did). This now makes me wonder if other aspies also struggle with this also. Do you have this kind of job and do you find it bothers you too?

Usually I get off at 4 every day unless we are busy then sometimes I have to stay until 6 or 7. I work in an auto body shop and it happens. My supervisor is usually good to tell me before it happens, and I just b***h about it for 5 minutes then do it LOL....
