I found out that a local bird sanctuary needs a new manager. Only a few hours a week but instead of paying you directly you get much reduced rent of a large house. They are looking for a handyperson and/or a bird freak... Today they did a wildflower thing and I introduced myself... But the work was too hard for me... But I tried to impress with my bird knowledge. My uncle is willing to do the maintenance and I told them that. They said they had extreme difficulty filling this position in the past. This position would mean we would pay 300 dollars less in rent a month for a house about 3 times as big as where I live now... But I'm too afraid I made a bad impression... How do I get over this especially since I almost had an anxiety attack talking to the lady...
