I failed my last job due to physical inabilility. Now I have a job showing high interest in me, in fact, I wouldn't have made it to the phone interview without my disability (sched. A hiring authority, US gov job)

Anyway, it's perfect (help save an endangered bird, yeah, ill do that)
except it's only 3 months long... but I have fears...

1. I will be physically unable to do this job (I tried to convey my limitations to the guy)
2. I will be seen as "odd" and be treated differently, or the other employees find out I'm disabled and look down on me.
3. The supervisor makes bad assumptions about me based on my current dx and not how I really am.

Good ways to calm such fears?

The only way, to me, to allay your fears, is to show that you could do the job, despite your "disability."

I know it's not so simple--but, sometimes, one has to think in simple terms in these situations.

It sounds like it's a swell job, and that you desire it. Just try to sublimate your fears to the desire to maintain your employment.
