I think I'm about to give up on achieving my dreams. I don't have a license to drive, and I'm not planning to in the immediate future. I just took a retail assessment questionaire. I found the amount of questions and what they were asking too overwhelming, so I really gave up.

I might give up on pursuing my dreams, my financial support from a job is the only way I can achieve these dreams.

My advice is to never give up.
In order to achieve your dreams, you may have to put in loads of work,
you may have to really apply yourself and learn a great deal.
You may have to keep on going for even years.

But if dreams were easy to achieve you probably would have done them already.

In my experience, many of the things we dream of in life are hard to achieve but this doesn't
mean that they are impossible.

Sure, there are some things that are unrealistic for most people, for example, being an astronaut etc. So make sure you first have a reality check.

But if your dreams are relatively realistic then my advice is for you to go for it.
I would also advise you to try and make a plan.

Working out the steps you need to take to achieve your dreams. Identifying what you need will help you work out what you need to do in order to achieve your dreams.

How much money will it take? What skills do you need. How will you get the money to pay for what you need. How will you get the skills.

I remember watching a program a few years back about successful self made millionaires.
The one thing that they all had in common was that in order to get where they are today, they all made a plan and worked through it. When i say worked through, what i mean is that their plans weren't set in stone
but they worked through their plan until they came up against an obstacle.
When they came up against an obstacle, they then worked out a way to get around that obstacle.
And kept on regardless.

What was also interesting is that the other thing that they had in common is that they didn't give up!
And many of the self made millionaires had many failed businesses before they eventually worked out how to make their successful businesses work!! !

There is another thing that I worry about sometimes, even if I try to keep it to the back of my head. I'm talking about the inevitable, inescapable, robotic and AI revolution that is taking away all human labor. It's probably only going to be several years, rather than decades, that humans are all of a sudden out of work and it will all happen overnight. At least people in the tech industry are saying this is so.

So we may have only several years left to enjoy the labor society we have. I wish I lived when my parents were growing up. At least in their generation, human labor was still seen as something cool to do. :(
