OK, so the boss pulled me aside and was concerned with some of my work. I tried to explain that is was mostly due to other people not responding to me on things not within my realm, but I don't feel that my boss was listening to me. Just needed someone to talk to about this. I'm trying to rectify the issue, but this isn't the first time, and I'm hoping I don't get let go.

Well this is kind of vauge...what were the bosses concerns, why are they caused mostly by other people not responding to you on things not within your realm? Basically kind of hard to understand what exactly the issue is...to know what to say about it.

Here is something to think about. Being your boss is how they are, is that the type of boss you want to continue to work for?

In my opinion, a good boss should understand when an issue falls out of the realm of control of their employees.

My boss took me aside on Sunday and told me that a customer complained about the tables not being wiped down. I HAD no time to do it because the dishwasher broke and I had to do every dish by hand until the repairman came to fix it. As a result, I was behind on dishes and struggled to get everything done and I told her that. She said to do better next time and now she's been nagging me about the tables. It's stupid that there's only one dining and dishes room worker per shift. That and it gives me no chance of impressing my crush
