I was wondering if anyone had any ideas of a place for me to intern after this year (assuming I survive it... still say only about a 75% chance of that happening based on the decline of my mental state so far) where I can work to help other autistics out? I am interested in working at a non-profit or the like, with people who will be sympathetic or understanding to my autism. I also have a degree in special education so anything around that would be a good idea. Autism Speaks is out for obvious reasons but any other sort of autism nonprofit would work, and really any sort of place that has a law team and understands autism (through organizational reasons) would work. Just wondering if anyone might have a suggestion, I can't do anything about it for months anyway (LSACs orders, can't talk to potential employers until December, and realistically wouldn't until January).
