Have you cut it in the field of LAW?
Wondering what experiences you've had here, if you were successful as a laywer or paralegal etc.?
I'm thinking that there's pros and cons for Aspies, like the pros are: esoteric and complex subject matter, hyperlexia, ability to memorize long winded passages and clauses, ability to focus for a long period of time... analytical and logic ability and more i'm sure.
Then the CONS...
Being unable to intuitively sniff out agendas in the firm, like the partners having an unspoken expectation for you to drink with them or introduce all prospects to them first or not being fully honest with clients, and more again I'm sure!
And not appearing too awkward when engaging with others in general.
I've studied law which was a huge Mistake for me since i hate writing. Legal writing for hours was not for me and unfortunately i couldn't quit college since i had no other plans. I also have adhd i suspect which was no help. However that's just my experience and someone whose special interest is law and who is good at legal writing can Excel in it.
So don't be discouraged if you're really interested in law and love reading/writing for hours.
