Can a spy be a good job for someone with autism?

Not likely, but you can work for such an agency on an analyst position that does not require any field work.

If "They" haven't already recruited you, then you would be better off to seek another line of work.

I would think an Aspy would not make a good spy simply because they would most likely "stick out." You'd have to know how to act like a neurotypical. You might be successful if you were infiltrating an organization that doesn't really suspect anyone of being a spy or one in which most members are neurodiverse.

How well can you act?

Agree that you would already have been recruited if you were a good candidate. CIA/MI5 and the like pick people during senior year college recruiting, usually. However, like previous poster said, you could look into intelligence analytics. You'd need a degree and a good score on the civil service exam of your country of origin; in-demand languages are a big plus. And no co-occurring psych disorders. I don't think autism alone can stop a security clearance, but co-occurring mood or anxiety disorders can.

If having proper training on stealth, impersonation, good at receiving intel, and skilled at martial arts and marksmanship, I suppose so.

BTW, PLEASE stop using the phrase "someone with autism". Say "someone on the autism spectrum" or "an autistic person". Calling autistic people "People with autism" is like a mild equivalent of calling black people the N-word.
